Monthly Archives: May 2012  I met Steven and Jaclyn for their day after session at the San Jose Municipal Rose Garden, right down the street from where Jaclyn’s parents live. It was a gorgeous day, and the roses were fully blooming! With the sweet smells of the roses wafting in the air, it was a perfect way to slow…  I don’t usually photograph newborns, but this little guy is SUCH a cutie pie! When a dear friend of mine asked me to photograph him after he was born, I couldn’t resist!Welcome, little Kenten! You are so, so loved!  I have fun at all of the weddings I photograph, but this wedding was. a. BLAST. For SO many different reasons! Steven and Jaclyn are a couple you just want to be around. They party like rock stars, yes, but after spending only a little time with them, I felt like I was welcomed into…  Part 2 of our recent vacation. Well, actually, it’s mostly part 3, as we stopped in Fortuna to visit Brian’s family. I don’t have many photos from the trip except for Brian’s mom’s proud display of Baby Miller’s ultrasound photos on her refrigerator. And a quick shot of Brian and me outside on the porch…  Let me start out by saying that any engagement session that ends with a stop at the local ice cream shop is by default going to be one of my favorite sessions. Not to mention how incredibly sweet Paul and Jamie are, that they’re laughter is contagious, and that they’re obviously smitten with each other. …  My husband and I had one goal for this week: to relax. We’ve been planning this time off for quite some time now, and we purposely did not plan anything other than where we were sleeping at night. So far, it’s been absolutely wonderful.
