Last weekend, I had the pleasure of hanging out with Eli and Leslie at the Stanford campus in Palo Alto. I’m guilty: I had never been on the Stanford campus before that day. For all the years I’ve lived here, you would think that a football game, or a theatre show or something would have called me to explore. When Leslie suggested we meet at the Oval on campus, I was pretty excited. Being an Ivy League school, it had to be beautiful, right?
Let’s just say I wasn’t disappointed! As we walked around the arch-lined pathways, and gazed up at the amazing details in the architecture, I was smitten. Leslie and Eli didn’t choose to do their engagement session at Stanford just because it was pretty, though – Eli is doing his residence at the Stanford Hospital. (Can we say impressive?) A good looking doctor, and a gorgeous woman with a heart of gold? What a match made in heaven!

One of the many reasons why I love spring are the wildflowers. Here in the bay area, there are a few weeks in the spring, after the first few rainfalls, when the hills turn a brilliant green and all the little wildflowers come out. It makes me want to go frolic in the hills as I drive by. It also gets me extremely giddy when I drive by an open field with wildflowers ont he way to a photo shoot. Because you know I’m going to want to go back.
Open fields make me swoon.

What a beautiful, beautiful day, with such a fun couple! Thank you Eli and Leslie for an amazing afternoon, and for being so wonderful to photograph!
